Every year at Bright & Beautiful, we love refreshing the shop for the season — restocking shelves, unpacking boxes, rediscovering things we forgot we ordered back in January, and sourcing beautiful new pieces you won’t find lining every tourist shelf on the island.
We’re passionate about supporting small independent makers wherever possible, choosing handcrafted, thoughtful and slightly unusual finds over mass-produced souvenirs — the sort of things that make people stop and say, “Oh… I’ve never seen anything like that before!”

Artwork
At the start of every summer season, we welcome a talented local artist to create a collection of beautiful original oil paintings especially for the shop.
Inspired by the island’s landscapes and seascapes, these one-of-a-kind pieces are often painted on wood in the traditional Greek style, giving them a timeless and authentic feel.
Year after year they become a real favourite with our customers — perfect for anyone wanting to take home something truly special and a beautiful original piece of the island to treasure.
The artist has also left a lasting mark on Bright & Beautiful in another way — creating the mural artwork across the inside walls of the shop, illustrating the Bright & Beautiful journey and adding even more personality, colour and story to the space itself.
Clothing Range
Our recycled and upcycled clothing collection has quickly become one of the most loved parts of the shop, with each piece being completely unique and impossible to recreate exactly the same way twice.
Every item is individually hand painted, embellished with carefully chosen motifs and charms, and created with creativity, care and positive intention woven into the process.
These one-off wearable artworks have been finding new homes all over the world, allowing visitors to take away something truly personal, meaningful and beautifully original.
Pebbles & Sea Glass
One of our favourite parts of creating is collecting materials straight from the sea itself.
We carefully gather pebbles and sea glass and transform them into sweet little artworks, each one inspired by the colours and textures of island life.
We also love using these natural treasures in our craft workshops, where they become part of beautiful mixed media creations — turning simple finds from the shoreline into something thoughtful, creative and completely unique.
Macrame Artworks
Our in-house macramé wall hangers are all handmade with creativity and care, and can be created in a wide range of designs, sizes and colour schemes to suit your space and style.
For something even more special, we can also incorporate beautiful pieces of driftwood as the main hanger — bringing a natural, coastal feel and making each piece completely unique.

It’s also one of our most popular craft workshops, giving visitors the chance to create their own macramé piece, learn new techniques and leave with something handmade and truly special to take home.
